AI Safety Summit: trends, challenges and opportunities

A panel discussion co-hosted by Oxford's Blavatnik School of Government and the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.
Hosted by:
The AI Fringe
University of Oxford

Description

The AI Safety Summit seeks to develop international consensus on addressing the risks associated with ‘frontier AI’ models – AI technology even more advanced than what exists today, which could severely threaten public safety and global security.

Ahead of the summit, this panel discussion will discuss emerging trends in AI and the prospects for achieving meaningful global cooperation on its governance and regulation.
