FAQ
The AI Fringe: Action Summit will bring together a diverse set of voices in the UK to reflect on the themes and outcomes from the AI Action Summit in Paris.
The AI Fringe aims to bring together the views of industry, civil society and academia to discuss how to develop safe and beneficial AI, serving as a platform for all communities – including those historically underrepresented – to engage in the discussion. The programme will intentionally broaden the conversation beyond the topics covered during the formal Summits.
The AI Fringe: Action Summit will be held at the British Library Knowledge Centre in London on 10 - 12 February 2025. The AI Fringe will also have a presence in Paris to ensure the activities at and around the Summit are relayed back to our community in the UK.
Yes. The AI Fringe aims to complement official AI Summits but is completely separate and independent from them. The inaugural AI Fringe was established to run alongside the UK AI Safety Summit in 2023 by broadening the discussions for the benefit of the wider AI ecosystem: an aim that underpins all AI Fringe events.
The AI Fringe is organised by Milltown Partners, in close collaboration with a group of Partners and the wider UK AI ecosystem.
AI Fringe events are ticketed. Tickets for events at the AI Fringe: Action Summit British Library Knowledge Centre are free, and are bookable by the day. Please ensure you have booked a ticket for each day that you would like to attend. See our Registration Info page for more details.
