Setting the scene: AI for everyone

Our opening session begins with a keynote speech from Secretary of State for the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology, Michelle Donelan, who will contextualise the current AI landscape, setting the scene for both the AI Safety Summit, and the AI Fringe. It will be followed by a VIP panel discussion covering what success for the Summit and the Fringe will look like, as well as the current state of play in AI development.
