Humanitarianism and Global Governance in the Age of AI

Addressing the opportunities and risks of artificial intelligence for those caught up in conflict.
Hosted by:
The AI Fringe
Chatham House

Description

This event aims to bring together representatives from government, industry, technical bodies and civil society for a discussion on both the humanitarian opportunities that AI presents and the types of harm that AI engenders for communities impacted by armed conflict. The panel will consider how we can develop the necessary mitigation measures to protect those caught up in conflict, either through existing tools at our disposal, or through the creation of new regulatory tools.
