Description
The PETs expert forum is a public-private international group dedicated to the advancement of legislation and regulation to promote the adoption of privacy enhancing technologies (PETs). PETs have huge applications in AI because they can mask personal data for use in analytics. PETs can reduce security risks and encourage safe data sharing. We need comprehensive standardisation of PETs, as well as regulatory and legislative support, to ensure widespread adoption and innovation in AI.
Members and non-members alike are welcome to join the launch meeting of the forum. We are excited to host the launch with the Information Commissioner's Office and the Royal Society joining us for presentations about PETs in AI and the direction of the policy and regulatory landscape.
